Results success once again for class of 2022

Students at Clarendon Sixth Form College are delighted after another year of outstanding A Level results, with many accepting places at top universities.

Students have achieved an impressive 100% pass rate and 79% high grades overall for A Levels.

Chris Chiu was accepted into the prestigious University of Leeds to study Computer Science, after receiving A*, A*, A*, A* in Computer Science, Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics.

Other high achievers included: Rafal Szuba (A*, A*, A*) who will study Film Studies at the University of Salford, Mulundu Muyaba (A*, A, A) who will study Biomedical Science at Plymouth University, Daisy Owen (A*, A*, A) who will study Law with Criminology at The University of Manchester, Daniel Bradwell (A*, A*, A, Distinction*) who will study Computer Science at the University of Leeds.

Jackie Moores, Principal at Clarendon Sixth Form College, reflected on students’ successes: “We are delighted that our students have achieved 79% high grades with a 100% pass rate for the fifth year running. Each one of our students has experienced disruption over the past two years and despite this, they have shown they have what it takes to get into the best universities, apprenticeships and jobs.”

“Our students regularly progress into Russell group universities including The University of Manchester, Warwick, Sheffield, Lancaster, Leeds, Durham, Kings College London, York, Exeter, Glasgow, Bristol and Newcastle and Arts Ed drama school in London.”

“We are so proud of all of our students this year and wish them the very best with their future studies and careers. We can’t wait to see how well they will progress.”
