Ben offered place at the University of Manchester

High grade student, Benjamin Whitmore has been offered a place at the University of Manchester.

Ben, a former pupil at Wright Robinson College, received three A* results in mathematics, further mathematics and computer science.

Well known for its computing courses, Ben will study combined computer science and mathematics whilst at the university.

Ben said: “The tutors at Clarendon Sixth Form College were really supportive, helping me quickly understand everything they were teaching me and pushing me to achieve high grades.”

After graduation, Ben is interested in pursuing a career in cyber security.
