Virtual open event lets students explore future careers

Clarendon Sixth Form College’s virtual open event is launched, allowing potential students to experience the college online. https://open.clarendon.ac.uk/

The virtual open event, which launched on Tuesday 16th November, gives school leavers the opportunity explore their future career options in a variety of subject areas, from photography to law.

The event website includes a wide range of resources including: subject information videos, a 3D virtual tour of the campus, principal’s welcome, student support videos, webinars and much more.

Jackie Moores, principal at Clarendon Sixth Form College, said: “The college’s virtual open event provides potential students with all the information they need to make an informed decision about their next steps from school to post-16 education. If students could not attend an in person, open event, it is a great way to see the college’s fantastic learning facilities, to meet their potential teachers and find the right qualification for them.”

The virtual open event follows on from the college’s highly successful in person open events, which were visited by a record number of people this year.
